Volatile organic matter (VOCs) as an important precursor for the formation of PM2.5, the rise of its emissions is one of the important reasons for the increasingly serious air complex pollution in the region. VOCs and malodorous gases have a wide variety of sources and are involved in many industries. The main source of VOCs is oil and chemical production enterprises. The most severe stench of petrochemical enterprises and the most serious pollution of VOCs are the petrochemical wastewater. The main methods of odor and VOCs management are physical, chemical and biological methods. Due to physical method, pollutants can not be eliminated entirely, chemical method is easy to produce second pollution and regeneration is difficult, so more research scholars is in favor of the biological method on simple device, good removal efficiency, less secondary pollution.
